Hello all! Sorry about being so shy, but I had no idea there even was a Vegas fur community. I stumbled upon it the other day and decided to give it a go. *flips ears back* So lets begin with the questionare.

####Section #1 Real Life!!!
Name (Something you'd tell just about anyone):
Just call me Cate :)

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Birthday: August

Zodiac: Leo

What do you do to make a living? (School? Work?)
Both

Are you Single? Yes

…If so you wanna spend some time with the bunny baby? *Wink Wink*
But honey bunny we've only just met!

Where were you born? Here

Where did you `grow up' (and we use the term loosely) Still here. Born and raised!

What Area of town do you live in? Spring Valley

"Personal" Preference? (wink wink nudge nudge know what a mean?) I like the boys

#####Section #2 Furry Life!!! (Fursonas? Feel free to fill out as many as you want!)

Name:
(This fursona is still a WIP, But her name is Stargazer (Star, Gaze, ect.)

Gender: Female

You didn't ask about species :P Lop-eared Bunny (picture is coming soon)

Age: 18

Zodiac: Leo

"Personal" Preference: (wink wink nudge nudge know what a mean?) Again, the boys

Fur code? I'm a bit embarrassed to say... I don't know what that is. :c

#####Section #3 Really getting to know a furry! (This is where it gets crazy! Brace yourself!)

Fave Artists (if any):
Neondragon, Jackson Pollock, many artists on deviantart..

Interests (We are not asking for fetishes here, SL, Chats, RP, Suiting, Building, Drawing ECT ECT):
Drawing, Painting, Gaming, 1 on 1 RP's, Sleeping and listening to music.

Fave WebSites: Devinatart.com, wajas, assorted art sites

How much do you hate theBunnyMan? How could I hate the theBunnyMan? He haven't met!

…How about this Questionnaire? Its amusing, and a bit frightening at the same time.

Who is your daddy and what does he do? He raises me. lol

What's the most exciting thing you have ever done? Gone to Hawaii

Paper or plastic? Plastic... Need to use those re-usable cloth bags...

Boxers or briefs? Strings! erm... on boys, the boxers!

Cotton or silk?
Both

What is your art? Furry/fantasy/realism

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?
Working with small animals like cats and bunnies.

Do you do Furry RP?
Online, yes. On IRL Rp's as of yet.

…If so what are your fave Sites/Chats/Mucks/ect:
None, I used to use forums, but they have changed over time. now I just RP through email.

What one single thing could the VF mods do to make the community better for you? N/A, I haven't been around long enough to know!

What one single thing should the VF mods NOT do, or stop doing to make the event better for you? N/A what is there to go wrong?

What are your favorite "RL" group furry activities?
None, I have no RL furry friends, and have not come out of the furry closet IRL just yet. :(

…How about Online? RP! Look at artwork, and just chat! I'm just now opening up to the furry community, and I love it!

Any not so "Furry" Interests? Music. I play guitar (a bit) and plan on playing piano soon. I paint and draw, and during my free time I usually check out furry sites or play video games.

What would you say is your best quality? I can be very friendly, spunky, flirtatious, and have a lot of fun. I'm very laid back, and try to not let things bother me. I'm fairly open minded as well.

What would you say is your worst quality? Unfortunately I'm "too laid back" sometimes, I can be hurt easily, and easily intimidated. When criticized about something I do, I beat myself up about it.

Favorite Hangouts? Home! Adventuredome, Movies

Favorite Music/Artists/Songs? I like rock, metal, hardcore, hip-hop, new age, synthpop, techno, and industrial music. Give me a CD and I'll always give it a try!

Favorite Movies? Lionking, The Notebook, Harry Potter, anything Disney!

Favorite Games? Spyro the Dragon, Pokemon, Mario

How mature would you say you are on a 1-10 scale? 1 Being the cartoon Beetlejuice and 10 Being Clint Eastwood. O_O I can range anywhere from a 2-7 I think. Beware the emote-crazed bunny!

What do you like to do most on your days off? Sleep and hang out at my house listening to music.

What is the best feeling in the world?
Feeling like someone truly loves you and cares.

What's the dumbest thing you've ever done? Snuck out at night. Did it once, never did it again and never will.

Do you know what Bauhaus is? Nuu...

…How about Frank Gehry? No...should I? o_o

Have you ever been in love? I believe so...

Are you in love now? No.

…If yes, with whom? -

What do you most often think about when you are working?
My family, school, friends, and what I'm going to do once I get off.

If you could throw your own furry meet/party/event what would it be? Oh wow...maybe a "coming out" party o.o even though I haven't, and likely wont IRL.

Describe your musical tastes with one word. VAST!

What's under your bed? My kitty!

Favorite alcohol? Vodka, and anything fruity.... Shhh!

Are you religious? Not really

…If yes, then what are you religious about: Dunno

About god? Don't know about that one...

About sex?
No

About food or drink? I worship tacos..ad the almighty corndog.

About "Furry"?
*giggle* about looking up furry stuff!

About anything else? Nooope

What? Nada!

Where do you want to end up? At the end of the rainbow laddie ;) Thar be anthropomorphic dragons there!

Win, Loose or Banana? Pineapple?

What question was not on this questionnaire that you feel should have been? "Why did you pick your furry species?"

Timbers- Are there a lot here? :3 It's actually a recent change. I need to get a reference sheet drawn out. I like Numetal, Industrial, and Metalcore the most. But I listen to a lot of Alternative metal as well. My music collection has Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, KoRn, Mudvayne, Staind, SOAD, God Module, and Neuroticfish as the main groups I listen to. How about you? Is there a specific genre that you prefer?

Kikoshi- Thank you! Bunnies are good then? I love your avatar!

Sedge- *takes the straight-jacket but leaves the pills* This is a funny place! Has it always required the padded rooms and floors?

How long have you all been a part of Vegas Furs? From what I've seen it seems like a really nice community, which really drew me in. :)

Ah nice, pretty much falls into the majority of my metal ^^ I like melodeath/black, thrash, and doom as well. Love everything you listed, surprised to see God Module up there ^^! Don't know many others who have heard of 'em, let alone listen. My main genres tend to group around Melodeath, Drum n' Bass, and Alternative ^^ but despite that, there's a loooot of bands/DJs I follow that don't necessarily cater to those genres =P Given the names you listed, have you listened to Bloodsimple, Deftones, Dope, In Flames, Five Finger Death Punch, The Prodigy, Angerfist, etc.? xP

Not many people know of God Module unfortunately! My friends think that style of music is interesting when I show them though. xD I found them through youtube actually, after finding an AMV with Imperative Reaction's music.
I agree! It's hard to stick to one genre. I take it you listen to techno as well?
Of the ones you listed, Deftones and The Prodigy are the only one's I've listened to. Prodigy is fantastic! Have you listened to The Crystal Method? They are similar to The Prodigy. Deftones is another great band that I need to get more of their CD's from. :)

Do you listen to any softer forms of rock like Evanescence, or even Linkin Park?
Have you listened to any psychedelic music like Shpongle?

You are mistaken, Industrial has a decent scene out here. I myself am a DJ for several clubs in town for such. God Module is playing in town soon at Ghost Machine soon.
YAY for more industrial fans!!!

YAY for more lop eared bunnies!!!

B-B-B-B-BUNNY POWER!!!!
The major problem — one of the major problems, for there are several — one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well known fact, that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem.
And so this is the situation we find: a succession of Galactic Presidents who so much enjoy the fun and palaver of being in power that they very rarely notice that they're not.
And somewhere in the shadows behind them — who?

^^' I didn't know to be honest. Out of all of the kids I knew in High school, none of them have even listened to anything industrial. Which left me being a sad bunny with no one to talk to about music. I did see that they were coming out though, and am thinking about buying tickets :D Even though I look nothing like an industrial fan! ^^'

Ooo you are a DJ? That is really neat! *gives you a high-five* How long have you been DJ-ing?

*edit* Decided to just say my real life nickname. I don't think anyone here is going to bite me :P

I can't remember how I discovered God Module, honestly. It's been a while xP

I listen to techno, although I have to admit it's not my most preferred form of electronica. I'm really big on Drum n' Bass, but techno is still enjoyable =)

TCM is awesome =P haven't been listening to them for nearly as long as The Prodigy but they're awesome ^^

In the terms of rock, I probably lean more to the alternative side of it..so yes! :P I like Evanescence, and while I'm not exactly a fan of anything Linkin Park has released recently...their older tracks are still nothing short of amazing :3

I'm not sure how "soft" I can go here before I lose ya, but how does Chevelle, Fuel, The Goo Goo Dolls, Incubus, Weezer, Gorillaz, Third Eye Blind, Rage Against the Machine, Phoenix, Nonpoint, Muse...anything ringing any bells x3?

I've been DJing professionally at nightclubs for a few years now.

I agree, Linkin Park's older music was amazing! I still like their new stuff, but with Mike having left I think there is a big empty space in their music. Still, "Valentines Day" is such a sadly wonderful song. "Crawling" Still owns the place as my favorite song though. What is your favorite song by them?

Oooo Chevelle, Incubus, Weezer, Gorillaz, Third Eye Blind all ring plenty of bells :) Incubus being my favorite of them all. <3 There are so many bands to rave about, to be honest! The list could go on forever. Do you listen to Pandora.com radio?

Since you like God Module too, have you heard of VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, Imperative Reaction, or Wumpscut?

theBunnyMan: It wouldn't let me quote you, but I think that has to be one of the coolest jobs to have! Do you know of any furry clubs out here in Vegas? I've heard of some in other states, but haven't heard even a rumor of any out here.

oo, that's difficult to name a single favorite! xP I'll have to say Papercut ^^

eeee Incubus is my favorite too xD (Chevelle being an extremely close second <3) Their album S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is probably my alltime favorite album, or at the very least tied with The Goo Goo Dolls' "Dizzy Up the Girl." ^^ I use to listen to Pandora a lot actually, but the constant ads they've thrown in there have made it a little tiring.

Actually, I've only heard of Imperative Reaction. I'll have to check out the others ^^

Heard of it! You forgot a lot of good bands! ;p

Well it's not my dayjob but yes it is an awesome job. There is NOT any furry clubs but if you look in general chatter I am looking it to starting one!

-pounce- Hiya Stargaze ^.^ I have a feeling you'll get along just fine with most of us here! On the Linkin Park note... I <3 'What I've Done' XD I recognize most of the softer rock bands you listed, I unfortunately don't delve too deep into the heavy stuff. But I do enjoy techno, Industrial and Trance.

Don't worry too much about the coming out thing... I'm 23 and aside from a select amount of people (mostly other furs XD) I haven't told anyone. But that doesn't mean you can't be a part of the community! Hope to catch you at a meet sometime!

Papercut is a great song too ^w^ Have you listened to their album Reanimation?
Eeek! Incubus rules *has "Drive* as her ring-back tone* I'd have to say that Make Yourself has my heart for their numbah 1 album though. I haven't really listened to The Goo Goo Dolls *makes a not to listen to them tonight*
Agreed! All of those ads are a bit of a nuisance. But it is nice to have other artists suggested every now and then.

Assemblage 23 and VNV nation aren't as hard and rough as say, God Module. VNV nation has very sad melodies, while Assemblage 23 is more dark and sad, I think. :) If you want some suggestions, check out "Cacoon" or "Damaged" by Assemblage 23, and "Beloved" by VNV Nation. All have very deep lyrics. :3

By all means BunnyMan, if you have bands to share please do! I'm still a bit new to the industrial/tech scene, and am always looking to expand the artists I listen to! ^w^

I wish I was old enough to see you at a club, I'll bet you are very good! In the mean time I'll go check that post out. Getting a club out here would be amazing, and I would be sure to visit it once I turn 21! (or will go as soon as it opens, if there is a section for furs under 21.)

*hugs* Hello! I hope I do, everyone seems so amazingly friendly so far! 'What I've Done' = LOVE! Music wise, there are too many artists to list :3 We haven't even reached the subject of techno yet! x3 It sounds like you have great music taste though. Do you have a favorite band or artist?

I've actually heard from furs on other sites that they regret coming out. I think I just want to tell my best friend, but I know while she thinks that the characters and fursonas are cool, fursuiting creeps her out a bit. D: So I dunno if it is worth the trouble of telling anyone asides a future mate if they aren't a fur.
Too many people give furs such a horrid stereotype. :(

Oh! The meets sound like they are a lot of fun! I'm hoping to maybe catch next months meet, or if not, the one afterwards. The only problem is explaining to my parents where I am going. They will want to know, and may be a bit mad that I talk to people online. But hey, it will be worth a shot either way!

How many people usually join the monthly meets? And does everyone go in a fursuit? Or is it okay to come with just ears, or as our human selves?

Only a couple people have a suit, all the meets I've been to people have just been in tails.

I have a suit but it's normally too dark for me to bother going out in it.

Ahh, well that makes it a bit better. :3 I was a bit worried about going to a meet and having 25 other furs all in full suit.

I remember looking at your suit in a thread, it is very lovely! Perhaps we need to do an early day meet if some furs aren't at work or school, so you could wear it? Going out and doing a "Furry Sunrise" would be neat. :3

I like :3 will venture more into them

Meets are aight. If you're down for just meeting up and chatting then yer, they're fun. There really isn't much else to do at them, though. Take it how you will :x

A healthy 20 or so tend to show. Most who own suits don't bring them, as there's not really events that go down where suiting would be any sort of fun, as all the "well lit" places in Vegas at night..on a Saturday..are kind of against the whole "covering face" deal. Most do wear collars/tails, I just go as myself. The best way to go.
