Here's a story for ya:
So, I went to the Green Valley Ranch arcade a few days ago as I do quite often. I usually go to the GVR arcade to waste some time waiting for a movie to start. (This time it was The A-Team.) While there, I almost always play Dance Dance Revolution! Ahaha! Everyone knows what an arcade consists of - games, tickets, prizes, FUN, oh, and FUN! I was definitely having fun stepping on arrows, but as I took a small break after a few songs, something caught my attention - The Sega UFO crane game that sits conveniently next to the entrance way. I almost never play this game because I've had some bad experiences with crane game machines in the past. I remember one time at the Sam's Town arcade I played the game more than ten times in an attempt to win a cute and lovable plushie. Unfortunately, most of the time, luck is not on my side.
Anyway, I often just glance at the constantly changing prizes to see if there is anything I am fond of. At the GVR arcade, luckily, there was this cute black and light brown dog plushie sitting right there on the top of the stack of prizes. I knew immediately that I had to "try" to win it! So, after putting four tokens in, looking at the timer counting down awfully quick, and moving the crane, I pressed the red button. The crane was perfectly aligned with the stuff toy. I held my breath, waiting till the plastic hooks locked in on my sought-after plushie. A short moment elapsed and then the crane started to lift back upward.
The plushie hung on so weakly that any shake, bump, or kick would have knocked it back down. The crane started to move towards the prize door as the cute dog dragged throughout the other prizes. Then, it dropped, but not back into the crowd of other prizes, but into the actual prize door! For the first time in my life, I actually won something from a crane game on my first try! It was a miracle to me. And what's even more exciting was that I got something I really wanted. Winning the plushie, now named Fudge, made my day! You probably though this was going to be a frustrating story of an attempt to win a prize. Sorry to disappoint ya, but I was just ecstatic that I won this time!
Here's a picture of Fudge (Don't ask about why I choose to name him that; it just came to me! Haha!):

To make this an engaging topic, I'd like to ask ya a question. Do you have an aggravating, interesting, or otherwise exciting experience while playing the crane game that you'd like to share? If so, I'd love to read YOUR stories. If not, I'd still like to read any stories you're willing to write up. I just felt like sharing a part of a normal day that actually went well for me. ^_^ The End. Now you can go back to whatever you were doing if ya want! :P

Cuuuuuute plushie! X3 And congrats on your winning ^^ At least you didn't spend a fortune trying to get it, you know? :3
That reminds me of the time I saw a Bulbasaur in the crane game machine at my local VONS.
*Epic flashback*
I was walking past the machine with my mom and there it was, Mr. Awesomely sized 14" perfect Bulbasaur just waiting to be plucked from the machine. I looked at my mom with great big pleading bunny eyes if I could play. She said no. :c
Bye bye Bulbasaur toy. How I wish to own you still, 8 years later. ;_;

Hehe, She took off but -DC-, for those that remember her, was known for emptying out crame games. She had mad skills when it came to them.
The major problem — one of the major problems, for there are several — one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well known fact, that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem.
And so this is the situation we find: a succession of Galactic Presidents who so much enjoy the fun and palaver of being in power that they very rarely notice that they're not.
And somewhere in the shadows behind them — who?
Who can possibly rule if no one who wants to do it can be allowed to?

Haha, that's an interesting flashback Stargaze, especially since you still remember it after eight long years. I wonder where that specific Bulbasaur toy is at right now...hm. I wish I had skills at crane games, but sadly, I don't. If I did, I'd win plushies and toys for all of you...and myself. :P
Kefurin, the ferret-fox, approves the above post.
